Caroline Drew - Medical Herbalist

I have been a Medical Herbalist for the past six years, after graduating from Cardiff University. Since April this year, I have Joined Anita here at Aquitaine Apothecary taking over the practice of a much loved Medical Herbalist David Cauldwell who has emimgrated to Canada to take up a teaching post.

My ethos to sourcing my herbs is to find organically grown and as locally sourced sustainable plants wherever possible. Most of my herbs come from a beautiful walled garden near Maidstone, where they have been growing herbs for over 400 years.

I like to work with my patients to build up their confidence to trust their own bodies, then we work together to facilitate changes in their health. I feel privileged to have time to get to the bottom of their individual concerns. A Medical Herbalist treats the person not the disease, so each case is different and requires a unique approach.
